Description
The Alhambra, a palace, also known as The Red is an exquisite example of Moorish architecture. The Courtyard of the Lions or Patio de los Leones is the centerpiece of the Alhambra. This fountain is constructed of a bowl citing atop 12 lions, each lion with a different face.
Originally a fortress, the palace today has been declared a World Heritage UNESCO site which is clearly understandable.
