American alligator lurking deep in the shadows of the Florida marsh. Covered in leaves, twigs and duckweed, this was all that was visible and had not someone pointed him out to us, we would have probably walked right past at about 8-10 away. Despite rumors, gators while they can move very quickly, land travel is not their forte. They are heavy, drag a very long solid muscle tail and have short stubbing legs. However in the water, that tail moves them silently and with great speed as it approaches it's victims who are usually unaware as it swims just below the surface. Had we stepped into the water.....
In a world filled with constant noise & distractions, I find solace in the simple things in life & the unspoiled beauty of nature. A way to connect with the Earth and find inner peace. I hope to leave behind a legacy of my love for nature through my photography, hoping to inspire others to find their own sense of solitude in the beauty of the world that surrounds them. Through my art, I invite you to slow down, breathe in the simple beauty and recognize the deep sense of tranquility that the natural world offers. This is your invitation to make those connections, and in doing so find a deeper sense of peace & purpose in life. My Website I work with my husband Timo, traveling and photographing our journey along the way....
