Bad Water Basin is the lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level. It is the most popular location in Death Valley. No trip is complete without a stop there. You might want to go early as the salt flats are very white and the reflecting sun is very intense.
There is no where for water even though limited to go so it puddles into unque hexagon shapes creating tiny little pools salt crystals. The salt flats are quite large, about 8 miles by 5 miles. Beautiful and picturesque.
In a world filled with constant noise & distractions, I find solace in the simple things in life & the unspoiled beauty of nature. A way to connect with the Earth and find inner peace. I hope to leave behind a legacy of my love for nature through my photography, hoping to inspire others to find their own sense of solitude in the beauty of the world that surrounds them. Through my art, I invite you to slow down, breathe in the simple beauty and recognize the deep sense of tranquility that the natural world offers. This is your invitation to make those connections, and in doing so find a deeper sense of peace & purpose in life. My Website I work with my husband Timo, traveling and photographing our journey along the way....
