The pelicans' wingspans are broad and majestic, showcasing their impressive aerodynamic form as they soar effortlessly against a softly blurred background. Their distinctive long beaks and large throat pouches, used for catching fish, are clearly visible, adding to the visual appeal of the photograph.
Brown pelicans (Pelecanus occidentalis) are primarily found along the coastal regions of the Americas. They are commonly seen along the shores of the Atlantic, Pacific, and Gulf coasts, ranging from North America down to the northern parts of South America. These birds are particularly prevalent in areas with abundant fish, such as estuaries, coastal lagoons, and open sea waters.
