Autumn in Florida, who knew? This is Grassy Waters Preserve near Jupiter, Florida. These wetlands are one of our new favorite places to go for a walk. Very nice wood walkway that takes you deep into the swamp. Looks like this all throughout the winter too.
Having recently relocated the coast of Southern California, we have been in Florida for about 3 months. It was so incredibly hot and muggy when we arrived. But starting in November the temperatures started to cool down enough to turn the AC off and open the windows. Then it got so cold at night, 43 that we had to pull up the comforter. Not expecting that. The cooler temps began changing the landscape to these beautiful golden Autumn colors.
This park is home to gators, wild hogs, countless bird species, snakes and other little critters. We always so something interesting.
In a world filled with constant noise & distractions, I find solace in the simple things in life & the unspoiled beauty of nature. A way to connect with the Earth and find inner peace. I hope to leave behind a legacy of my love for nature through my photography, hoping to inspire others to find their own sense of solitude in the beauty of the world that surrounds them. Through my art, I invite you to slow down, breathe in the simple beauty and recognize the deep sense of tranquility that the natural world offers. This is your invitation to make those connections, and in doing so find a deeper sense of peace & purpose in life.
