Artist's Description
We arrived in Iceland the morning after flying all night. We had just 4 days to spend in Iceland and there was no time to waste trying to manage jet lag. Jumped in our cars, grabbed some breakfast and we were off. Our first stop was the Gullfoss Waterfall. This is the upper portion of Gullfoss.
There are over 200 named waterfalls in Iceland coming in all sizes and all types of stunning Icelandic landscapes. Most of the rivers are fed by one of the many glaciers in Iceland, the largest glacier covering 8% of Iceland.
Gullfoss waterfall is one of the better knows waterfalls and it's fairly easy to get to. Even through jetlagged eyes it was beautiful
