Description
The shadows were beginning to lengthen as the sun lay low on the horizon of the Lagos or Lagoa coast. We looked down from the sandstone cliffs on this late November afternoon just as sunset approached. The beach and turquoise blue waters of the Atlantic were still warm enough for sunbathers to enjoy those last rays of the slowly setting sun. Lagos is part of the Algarve coastline and is a little slice of Europe's Riviera. Even though it gets quiet in the tiny town of Lagos in the Fall it's still a beautiful time of year to visit. We spent a month there.
