Artist's Description
Whether landing after a long haul or taking off about to begin an adventure doesn't really matter. It can be whichever you dream of. We have all missed travel so much these days and I have always loved this shot, because it is a happy place.
For us, this was a landing at the Los Angeles International Airport after weeks wandering around Europe. I love flying into LAX. Flying over the city lights at night looks like a sea of jewels. I don't know about you, but I actually like sitting over the wing of these giant birds. I love watching the flaps shift as they bring us to a stop on the runway.
It's been a couple of years since we travel like this. But we are so ready and plans are in the works. Itching to see this wing view again.
