In the tranquil expanse of Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge at sunrise, a magnificent mule deer buck stands proudly amidst the tall golden grass, creating a picturesque scene. The majestic buck, adorned with a set of commanding antlers, becomes a focal point against the warm tones of the morning light. Behind him, the skeletal branches of winter trees add a stark yet beautiful contrast to the vibrant grass, creating a backdrop that accentuates the natural splendor of the moment. The air is filled with a quiet majesty as the buck oversees his harem of approximately 11 does.
