Description
The Red Winged Blackbird is just one of the many birds that make the wetlands of the Florida Everglades their home. This bird while rather small is one of the most aggressive when it comes to defending its territory. It will take on multiple birds at a time and even stand its ground against a significantly larger hawk.
The Florida marsh is full of sounds, yet the Red Winged Blackbird has one of the most distinctive and recognizable calls.
The male Red Winged Blackbird are easily identifiable by their glossy black feathers and that bright red and yellow badge on their shoulders.

I celebrate you and understand all the views of this terrific image. The detail is excellent, and you made a bird with a harsh call look soft and fluffy. They are like a spring symphony in the marsh!
