If you have been to Italy, most likely you have seen the famous Roman Colosseum by day, but have you seen it by night? If the answer is no, then next time you travel to Rome, you must visit this historical and very famous architectural marvel at night.
When we travel, we look for the out of the ordinary. In Italy, the Roman Colosseum in the dark was that out of the ordinary and unusual adventure. An night time the underground tour will take you where most never venture, deep into the dark bowels of this ancient structure. You will go to the area that was beneath the floor of the Colosseum. This is where this building tells it's stories. Here is where the gladiators, the animals and yes, the Christians waited for their fate as they would entertain the Roman crowds that evening.
When underground, you can almost hear the sounds of history. The history runs deep and the view of this place is one of Europe's tourism icons, to see it by night makes it iconic.
In a world filled with constant noise & distractions, I find solace in the simple things in life & the unspoiled beauty of nature. A way to connect with the Earth and find inner peace. I hope to leave behind a legacy of my love for nature through my photography, hoping to inspire others to find their own sense of solitude in the beauty of the world that surrounds them. Through my art, I invite you to slow down, breathe in the simple beauty and recognize the deep sense of tranquility that the natural world offers. This is your invitation to make those connections, and in doing so find a deeper sense of peace & purpose in life. My Website I work with my husband Timo, traveling and photographing our journey along the way....
