Description
Sagres in Portugal is tiny little surf mecca and with good reason. We followed the signs down the road where surf lessons were being offered on the beach. It was late and there were no lessons, not that we planned on surfing, but I wanted to hang around and photograph the sunset against the dramatic Sagres cliffs. It didn't disappoint. What was a surprise when I was able to look at my work on a large screen, I had managed to capture a single bolt of lightening over the ocean. Didn't even realize there was lightening, but a storm was definitely brewing and those clouds are what really make this a beautiful view. There are numerous surfable beaches right near Sagres. There is something for every level of surfer.

Wow, that lightning bolt is amazing...

Isn't that cool! I didn't even see it happening, it was so far away and the ocean and the wind were just to loud.
