Description
The cliffs of Portugal's headlands near Sagres rise up 100s of feet above the water. The waters of the Atlantic can be ferocious at times, waves splashing another 50-100 feet above the to top of the cliff. Local fisherman sit on the edge of the rocks, dangling their poles out and stretching to see if their line made it to the water. Caves within the rock mass have created several blowholes where the force of the waves can be felt by the wind they create even on a calm day.
