The little Sandhill Crane chick, affectionately known as a colt for its remarkably long legs, stands out against the pristine white sandy backdrop. Despite measuring only about a foot tall, its parents tower at nearly four feet, underscoring the significant growth to come. With each stride, the colt navigates its surroundings with an endearing awkwardness, its gangly legs propelling it forward with determination. Against the serene landscape, this tiny creature embodies resilience and the promise of growth.
