Description
The Sandhill Crane migration is quite a sight to see as they stop to rest and refuel along the Bosque of the Rio Grande in New Mexico. The cranes rise with the sun and begin foraging for food until the early afternoon when they they rest in the warmth of the setting sun. Their migration covers in many cases 1000s of miles and often includes young ones who are making the journey for the very first time.
