Description
Beginning in late September, the beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountain that overlooks Santa Fe, New Mexico has a large grove of aspens that paints the mountain with a wide swatch of gold and various hues of orange and red autumn colors. It is a beautiful sight to see from Santa Fe, but when you are in it, it is pure flickering sunlight as the quakies shimmer in the breeze and sunlight. It's one of my favorite about Santa Fe, admittedly I have way to many favorites. However the Santa Fe fall colors are in my top 10.
