I am a native Californian and scenes like this are a never. Sure California has breathtaking mountain views, that can reach over 14,000 feet high, but mountains covered in green like this.... we just don't have that there. During the summer of 2020 we made our way across the US, coast to coast. At some point right after Texas, everything turns green. It's beautiful.
This was a long hike I took to a viewing platform on the top of a peak in the Great Smoky Mountains. This was just half way up the mountain trail and this was the view. Wildflowers blooming everywhere too.
