Description
White Sands, New Mexico, August 2020 right in the middle of a global pandemic and during the worst western fire season in history. We had gone to White Sands specifically to photograph the sunset. It's one of my favorite photography spots. Looking directly at the sunset gave this view a very different tonal color. Turning away from the sun here I was able to capture entirely different colors. Other images of this White Sands trip can be found in my Landscapes or Sunset collections.
I was disappointed when we arrived, but as it turns out, this series of images of this White Sands sunset and this panorama are some of my favorite images I have ever taken. Dreamy and moody feel to them, very calming and should I say, very different then your typical view of White Sands in New Mexico.
