Artist's Description
The seagull is the universal symbol of the sea and a welcome sight to sailors who are anxious to set foot on dry land again. They are curious, sometimes annoying and sometimes entertaining as they strut along the shore. This one caught my eye as he walked along the waters edge, leaving tiny foot prints in the sand. The wind was blowing his feathers straight out and all fluffed up as he took in the warmth of the sunshine on his face.
