Artist's Description
The pristine, ripples in the crisp white sands of White Sands National Monument in New Mexico are an extraordinary site to behold. This particular day there was heavy smoke in the air from the wild fires in the western part of the United States. Looking towards the west, the sky was filled with haze, but look to the east and the view was gorgeous. Just a hint of smoke which cast a pink to orange cast on the clouds. Not a typical view for White Sands, but exquisite in it's own way.
