The year of the Super Bloom 2018 in Anza Borrego the wildflowers were incredible. This was just an incredible scene in the early morning light, perfect for working on my photography. The rains of 2018 were particularly heavy for Southern California and the desert floor wildflowers was the gift all of that rain brought. The washes were where the color was most vibrant. Not every year looks like this, but very often the Anza Borrego puts on a show in the Spring.
