Description

On the edge of White Sands National Park and Monument are the prairie lands that border the pristine white gypsum sand dunes. Along the edge of the dunes there are grass fields and a variety of plant life which brings with it different wildlife and little critters.
Sunset is a beautiful time to visit White Sands. As the day cools down, the sand dunes are exquisite as the sun goes down, but all the wildlife comes out to enjoy the soft evening air and forage for food.
