It's been decades since I took this picture. In fact it goes back to the day of film. As old as this image is and all the places we have traveled in the world, witnessing so gorgeous sunsets, this sunset is still, hands down the most beautiful I have ever seen in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This is the image straight out of my camera, with just a little cropping and vignette.
It was just this vibrant, with the clouds looking like flames in the movie Inferno. The only thing I could not capture was just how big this was. Santa Fe has really big skies and has the most glorious sunsets you will ever see. I miss them and hope to be there again one day.
